Adding certifications to your profile

Certifications

Certifications demonstrate initiative and specialised knowledge beyond your degree. Add every relevant certificate you have earned.

How to add a certification

  1. Go to Profile → Edit Profile and scroll to the Certifications section.
  2. Enter the certificate name (e.g., Google UX Design Certificate).
  3. Enter the issuing organisation (e.g., Coursera, NPTEL, Google, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy).
  4. Optionally enter the certificate ID or a verification URL.
  5. Set the valid from date (MM-YYYY format).
  6. Set the valid until date, or leave blank if it does not expire.
  7. Click Add Certification and then Save Changes.

What to add

  • Online course completions (Coursera, edX, NPTEL, Udemy)
  • Platform certifications (Google, HubSpot, AWS, Microsoft)
  • Exam-based credentials (GATE, CAD certifications)
  • Workshop or training completions

Tip: Always include a verification link if one is available — it makes your certificate instantly trustworthy to employers.
