Principal – Architectural Design
Shekar Ganti
Founder and Partner at Ganti & Associates Inc., Shekar Ganti has over more than twenty years’ experience in Master Planning, Architecture, and Construction. Soon after earning a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Sir JJ College of Architecture in 1994, he went on to persue his Masters Degree in Building Sciences from University of Southern California. Having worked with Pritzker Price recipient Architect Richard Meier & Partners in Los Angeles for a decade as a Senior Designer, Shekar has served as a Lead designer for many award-winning projects, managing and directing teams on projects ranging from houses to hotels, high-rise office, residential buildings and urban design. Licensed to practice in both USA and India, he is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Indian Institute of Architecture (IIA), and the International Association of Shells and Spatial Structures (IASS). His global experience in design and a vision for future technology, he believes in creating sustainable spaces, as Green technology is his forte. Among Shekar’s recent notable projects are Grand Sheraton Kipe in Africa, Wagholi – Residential Township at Pune, Urbana Township in Bangalore, Trump Towers in Pune and several notable residences.
Principal – Lighting Design
Kiran Ganti
Co-founder and a partner at Ganti & Associates Inc., Ms. Kiran holds a Bachelors of Architecture from Sir JJ College of Architecture. With over twenty years of Lighting Design experience, and a wide range of national and international projects in her portfolio, Kiran has earned a reputation of an outstanding designer. With combined work experience in the US and India, she heads the Lighting Team at GA, USA . She has designed several large-scale projects ranging from master plans, hotels, high-end residential and commercial projects. Her contribution to the firm’s creative portfolio spans across the globe. Some of her notable projects (a few designed while an Associate at ILD, USA) include: Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai; Hyatt Regency, Shanghai; Park Hotel, Kolkatta; Hanuman Temple, Dolvi; Santa Monica College Library, Los Angeles; St. Regis Hotel, San Francisco; Hyatt Regency Hotel, Pune; Kohinoor Square Towers, Mumbai; Reliance Headquarters, Mumbai; Maker Maxity mixed-use development BKC, Mumbai. She has successfully managed a variety of projects from concept to realization, while her communicative interactions with clients and her project teams results in successful collaborations. She is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) – USA.
